about Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer was 14 when she decided to pursue acting. She then convinced her parents to find her an acting agent in New York City. But prior to her success in acting or long before she landed a sweet spot in Hollywood, Jennifer acted in a local theater and attended Kammerer Middle School. She left high school with a 3.9 average two years before anyone did and she worked as an assistant nurse in a children’s summer camp.
Jennifer has two older brothers and her parents are Karen and Gary. Her mother ran a summer camp while her father owned and managed a concrete construction firm called Lawrence and Associates. She lived in New York City for a period of time but later she moved to Santa Monica in California.
Jennifer started out with the Bill Engvall Show and after three seasons with the cast, the show was cancelled. But from that experience, she was able to reap the Young Artist Award for Outstanding Young Perfromer in A TV Series. It was then followed with a few guest roles in other TV Series.
At present, she belongs to the team of The Hunger Games playing the part of Katniss Everdeen.
