Eva Longoria hosted a media launch at the Villa Magnum during a Magnum ice cream promotional day on the French Riviera in Cannes, France on Monday (April 7).

The ice cream brand is set to launch a $12 million ad campaign for a new flavor, with the Desperate Housewives actress appearing in the spot.

According to press reports, “A TV advert breaking in tonight’s Coronation Street will feature Longoria in a Mayan temple to mark the launch of the Magnum Mayan Mystica bar. The ‘decadent’ new flavor, blended with cinnamon, honey and nutmeg, is inspired by chocolate’s supposed origins in the Mayan civilization 2,500 years ago.”

Programs in which the 30-second ad spot will appear as part of the campaign include: Project Runway, Pushing Daisies, America’s Next Top Model, Hollyoaks and Grey’s Anatomy.
